Messages Page Description

The Messages page in the workspace platform provides a centralized interface for managing and responding to conversations. Here's a detailed breakdown of the elements on the Messages page:



Main Messages Area

  1. Message Controls:

    • Send Message: Button to send a new manual campaign - responses from this will go directly to the messages page of the user that sends the manual campaign.
    • Channel & Unread: Displays the total count of messages and unread messages.
    • God View (Green Eye, Admin Only): Allows an administrator to view all channels in the workspace and see who they are assigned to
    • Archived: Allows the user to see their archived conversations
    • Search Bar: Search through conversations by keyword.
    • Campaign Dropdown: Filter messages by specific campaigns.
    • Flags Dropdown: Filter messages by flags assigned to conversations.
    • Order by Oldest/Newest: Toggle to order conversations by date.
    • Unread & Bookmarked: Filters for unread and bookmarked conversations.
  2. Messages List:

    • Conversations: List of conversations showing the contact's phone number, name, date/time of the last message, and a snippet of the last message.
    • Flag Icon: Icon to flag a conversation for easy reference.
    • Bookmark Icon: Icon to bookmark a conversation.
    • Campaign Filter: Shows the campaign associated with each conversation.
    • Archive Button: Archives the selected conversation.
    • Shortlist (Light Blue Button Top right): Allows the user to view their shortlist and send a campaign to shortlisted contacts
  3. Detailed Message View:

    • Contact Information: Displays the contact's phone number, workspace number that is communicating for this conversation, and if available, the contact's name.
    • Message History: Shows the history of messages exchanged with the contact.
    • Reply Box: Text box to type and send a new message.
    • Send Button: Button to send the message.
    • Segment Counter: Displays the number of message segments.
    • Contact Meta Data: Displays additional information about the contact, such as name, number, company, employer, and any other custom fields.
    • Contact Notes: Area to enter and update notes about the contact.
    • Safe Mode Toggle: Toggle to enable or disable SafeMode which when enabled will not show incoming images.
    • Export Channels Button: Button to export conversations
    • Unsubscribe(Red Button Top Right): Adds contact to unsubscribe list which will not allow the contact to be texted by your workspace
    • Follow Up (Blue Button Top Right):  Allows you to set an automated message with the desired contact at a specified time that can be triggered automatically if the contact does not respond, or triggered regardless
    • Download (Light Blue Button Top Right): Downloads a CSV of the conversation history 

The Messages page is designed to provide a comprehensive view of all interactions, allowing users to efficiently manage and respond to messages while keeping track of conversation history and contact information.
